Selskabet Den gode Hensigt is a private, social club located in the heart of the city centre of Bergen, Norway. It was founded in 1798, celebrating some 225 years. Today, the Club has some 500 members.
Within Selskabet Den gode Hensigt there are 26 skittle clubs, a bridge club as well as a snooker club.
In addition to the activities above, each year the Club hosts a number of social events and cultural activities for its members and their companions.
In the Clubs premises, in addition to a skittle alley, there is a library and may be the nicest snooker-room in town.
Selskabet Den gode Hensigt is located at Øvre Ole Bulls Plass, Bergen, and among our tenants you will find the restaurant «Wesselstuen» as well as the theatre "Det Vestnorske Teateret».
